Hey there! I’m Tammy.
I work primarily with those experiencing complex/childhood trauma, substance use issues/addictions.
I work with you to shed the layers of your trauma and create a life that you don’t need to numb yourself to and escape from.
My goal is to help you process your emotional wounds and transform them into growth so that you can experience a deeper and more joyful connection to yourself, your relationships, and the world at large.
My story…
I grew up in the UK in a large family with five older brothers, and from a very early age experienced ongoing trauma.
Growing up in an unstable and chaotic environment left me with multiple psychological and emotional wounds and destructive behaviours that I have spent a long-time healing and continue to heal to this day.
However, having these experiences has given me a profound understanding of trauma, recovery, and the possibility for change.
Today, life feels calmer, steadier, and more connected. I spend my days with my partner, son and our wonderful crazy little dog - grateful for the simple moments that healing has made possible.
And I would like to help you heal from your unresolved pain too.
Working with me…
My therapeutic style is warm, relaxed, and very down to earth. I am an integrative therapist - meaning I use a variety of modalities to fit your needs. I also love a bit of humour!
Prior to entering into private practice, I worked as an Alcohol and Other Drug Clinician working with both community and forensic clients.
I am grounded in Person Centred Therapy but also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassionate Inquiry, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing and more.

Meet Sasha
Hi! I’m Sasha.
I work primarily with females experiencing trauma, substance use issues, anxiety, stress, self-worth and burnout.
I facilitate a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental therapeutic space for people to explore their inner world and difficulties. I see people through a holistic lens and aim to support you to find integration between mind, body and emotions.
My goal is to help you process your painful emotional experiences and live a life in alignment with your truest self. I believe Trauma lives in the body, even though its often seen as a “mental” issue. When working with people, I have found that reconnecting with self, through somatic awareness and mind-body connection is paramount when healing from Trauma and deeply painful emotions.
My story…
From a young age I experienced an accumulation of painful experiences which led to developing many damaging coping mechanisms such as an eating disorder. Many years of recovery later, I’m now a mother, partner, coffee lover and counsellor.
I’ve always been drawn to helping others and seeking to understand people and the world around me. I seek to understand people as they are, underneath all the layers of protection we create for ourselves.
Finding yoga in my late teens lay the foundation for reconnecting with my body, after years of disconnection. Yoga gave me a way to begin feeling safe in my body to feel my emotions. In 2022 I completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher training, following with a Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher training and Restorative Yoga Teacher training.
I now run a Trauma Informed yoga program in a Youth detox unit along side my counselling role.
Working with me...
My therapeutic approach is guided by compassion, integrity, and evidence-based practice.
I’m grounded in Person Centred Therapy but also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Psychotherapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing and more.
